Timothy the Frog has rather strange eyes......maybe as a result of spending too much time perched on this rather psychedelic Flower Power bead!

The bead, which is crammed with colourful blooms measures 20mm in diameter and has a hole measuring 2.4mm.

This is a flattened oval shaped focal bead made using a method called "core distortion". I can never decide whether to call this effect "tornado" or "fish-bone"! Either way - I'm sure you'll agree that it's quite an interesting look.

The bead measures 43mm in length and is 23mm across its widest point. The bead is 8mm thick. Bead hole is 2.4mm.

A big puffy heart in a delicious red glass with wraps of pure silver. Romantic or what?

The heart stands 22mm high and is 22mm in width. The bead hole is a neat 1.6mm.

This is a large round focal bead having studs of amber glass dotted all over it. The base bead has a wrap of fine silver foil over its surface for a more organic look. The bead measures 25mm in diameter without the studs but is 29mm if the studs are added. The bead hole is 2.4mm.

I love making encased floral beads - so much fun. This is a large focal in a fat cigar shape measuring 38mm in length. The widest part of the bead measures 16mm. Bead hole is 1.6mm. Lots of colourful blooms cluster around a base of greens and aquas.
