My desk - This is where I make the beads you see on my web pages. No, I'm not a tool fanatic - don't even have a Creation Station! But I couldn't operate without my beloved graphite marver and those cream handled needlenose pliers. The torch is a Nortel Minor Burner which operates on propane and oxygen and the bowl conains vermiculite, which is what I use to cool the beads if I'm not using the kiln at the time.

The Glass - The rack on the left contains all the glass rods that are used in making the beads. I use mostly Effetre (Moretti) Italian glass. My precious Terra and all the other funky designer glasses are in the jars on the work surface, along with the radio. Look at my shiny new floor tiles - wonder how long they'll be as clean as that??

Equipment - There's lots going on here - the blue box is a Paragon Bluebird kiln, which is what I use for annealling the beads, and the grey suitcase-type things are oxygen concentrators. The black object towards the top of the desk is an extractor - essential for removing the fumes from the torch.
